Privacy Policy

Veridian Living (ABN 26 692 552 793) ("Veridian Living", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

We only collect information that helps us respond to you and deliver your project. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

• your name, email address, mobile number and company name;
• details about your land or site, such as its address, state, size and ownership status;
• details about your project, such as the number of homes, bedrooms, design preferences, timing, budget range and where you are with finance;
• how you heard about us, and who referred you;
• anything else you choose to tell us in a form, email, message or call; and
• basic technical information when you use our website, such as your browser, device and pages visited.

We don't ask for sensitive information, and please don't send us bank or card details through our website forms.

2. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you fill in a form on our website (such as a Land Check, brochure request or project enquiry), email or call us, or meet with us. If someone refers you to us, they may give us your name and contact details. Our website also uses cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used.

These include Google Analytics, which tells us how visitors use our site, and the Meta pixel, which helps us measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. When you submit a form, the Meta pixel may send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of details such as your email address or phone number, so it can match the visit to a Meta account. We don't send the contents of your enquiry. You can control cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

3. Why we use it

• to respond to your enquiry and send what you asked for, such as brochures or your Land Check;
• to assess your site and prepare Site Investigations, Site & Delivery Studies, proposals and contracts;
• to deliver your home or project, and coordinate the consultants, authorities and trades involved;
• to follow up with you about your enquiry or project;
• with your consent, to send you updates, new designs and offers by email or SMS; and
• to run and improve our business and website, and meet our legal obligations.

4. Email and SMS

If you tick the consent box on one of our forms, we may contact you by email and SMS about your enquiry and, where you've agreed, with marketing messages. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in an email, replying STOP to an SMS, or contacting us.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where it's needed to do what you've asked, including with:

• the consultants, surveyors, certifiers, designers, manufacturers, transport and installation partners involved in your project;
• councils and other authorities, where required for approvals;
• our service providers, such as our CRM, email, SMS, website and cloud storage providers;
• Google and Meta, through the analytics and advertising tools described above; and
• anyone else where you've agreed, or where the law requires or allows it.

6. Overseas storage

Some of our service providers, including our CRM and email and SMS platforms, store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers protect your information.

7. Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure, password-protected systems with restricted access. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.

8. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Every home and site is different, and your price, inclusions, program and terms are set out only in the written documents we give you, such as your Site Investigation report and your contract with Veridian Living.

2. Images and designs

Images on this website marked as artist's impressions are illustrations only. Furniture, styling, landscaping and some finishes shown may not be included. Floor plans, sizes, designs, specifications and inclusions are indicative and may change without notice. Your contract documents set out exactly what's included in your home.

3. Pricing and availability

Prices shown on this website are “from” prices for the home only, including GST and delivery within 250 km of our manufacturing facility. They exclude site works, connections, approvals and reports, which depend on your site and are priced in your Site Investigation. Prices may change without notice until they are set in writing. Any estimate, indicative figure or program we provide is subject to the terms in the document it's provided in.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including designs, floor plans, images, text, logos and branding, is owned by or licensed to Veridian Living. You may view and print it for your own personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce, adapt or use it for any other purpose without our written permission.

5. Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

6. Liability

We take care to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update this page from time to time. The current version will always be published here. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
